We found the perfect shoe! Time for pointe classes!
Back home, Cate and mom enjoyed a girls weekend in Albuquerque. We started by renting a 3/4 cello at Robertson's. Then we headed to NM Dancewear for pointe shoe placement.

...then finally enjoyed lunch at the history El Tovar hotel.
We enjoyed taking in more views from the South Rim...
We parked our mules. What a great experience!
Snow covered the trail as we reached the top of the rim.

The sun came out and warmed us up!
We stopped along the way and let the mules rest.
The views were different as we followed this trail.
This time we headed up the North Kaibab Trail to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
January 2nd we had breakfast early, then loaded up on our mules.

We played games in the cabin and enjoyed hanging out before dinner.
After a 12 mile hike we finally arrived at our cabin at Phantom Ranch.
...we again had different views of the canyon.
Headed back to Phantom Ranch...
After having a snack lunch, we climbed up behind the falls.
They were tall and beautiful!
...until finally we saw a sign to Ribbon Falls!

We followed the trail along the river.
The North Kaibab trail of the Grand Canyon...headed towards the North Rim.
January 1st, 2016. We were up early for breakfast before heading out for a hike.
